Size 8’s Unexpected Shift
No one saw this coming. Size 8 adds to the list of artists who’ve decided to go the Gospel way. She is famous for her hits like ‘Vidonge’ and last year we saw her hosting a dance show, appearing on adverts as well as being one of the artists chosen by Safaricom for their tour. She was among the artists who instead of campaigning for politicians in exchange for money, chose to go around preaching peace. DJ Mo took to his twitter and welcomed Size 8 after she made the announcement. Pulse magazine reached her and it seems like she has been saved for quite some time but was waiting to make it public.
Her parents, who are both preachers, might have influenced her in making this decision. She has been working on her first Gospel song which is set to drop today.
We at 2kohapo are proud of Size 8 for the brave decision and wish her all the best.

Supporting Local Music
In a move to curb piracy, Mdundo service was born. The move is to encourage us to support our local artistes at an affordable price of only Ksh.100 for five tracks from your favourite artiste. The unique bit about it is not only are the artists given the cards free of charge but they also get to pocket 100percent revenue generated from selling their cards. However, if Mdundo sales more cards than the artist, they (artistes) get to be paid thirty percent of the revenue.
The Mdundo card has a pin which is revealed to you upon scratching. The procedure is very simple, after scratching the card one is required to go to mdundo.com, enter the scratch card’s PIN and your phone number then finally download the music to your phone. The selected few Mdundo decided to partner with include some of Kenya’s popular artistes and they now have the option of choosing to sell their music or giving it away for free. Rapdamu, Sosuun, Kenrazy, Gin Ideal, Nebulazz, T-Mee and Caltoz Jinamizi are some of the artists who chose to consider their fans and give away their music for free.

Yesterday on KTN after ten months of undercover investigation, we saw Mohammed Ali unveiling what might have led to death of the late George Saitoti, his assistant the late Orwa Ojode and the rest of the passengers who as well perished in the fateful aeroplane crash. A less than ten second clip ran on air showing one of the Artur brothers who appeared to be getting cosy with media personality Ciku Muiruri. She later took to her facebook account trying to explain her side of the story. A fraction of Kenyans I’m assuming those she might have busted on her show later decided to kill her on social media. Ciku is now the latest victim to be included in the list of people to have faced the angry wrath of Kenyans on social media.

Who ever thought that in a million years, Avril would be willing to take the role of a gangsta. As we all know, this is quite different from her usual personality. What Has Jaguar Been Up to.
If you haven’t heard about Jaguar so far, you better come out of that bubble you live in. This guy has come a long way and is a clear example that anything is possible. Who knew a simple matatu tout would end up being one of the President elect’s closest buddies. We have been seeing Jaguar quite often especially during the campaign period where he showed support for the Jubilee team. We even saw him in the crowd at Bomas on Saturday when Mr. Uhuru Kenyatta was declared to have won by IEBC. The politicians love him despite his hit song ‘Kigeugeu’ or perhaps it’s the other way round(that’s for you to decide). Our Kenyan artists are finally being recognised by the Government. Below is a picture of him together with the President. I’m sure the question everyones asking is will we see him venturing into politics soon? Or who will be the next politician to appear in his video?

Collins Injera Suspended
We all remember him for being rated among the fastest and best try scorers in the world IRB series. He plays for Kenya Sevens team which on the IRB Log is ranked 6thworldwide. Things seem not to be going well for one of our favourite Rugby players Collins Injera. Just a week after RFC(Rugby Football Club) gave him an eight week suspension, he has been accused of gross misconduct and this has prompted him to be kicked out of the national team. The chair of the Kenya Rugby Union claimed Injera had missed out on several training sessions. In his defence, Injera said he had explained to National squads and the Elite training director Philip Jalan’go why he was not present during the Friday training.
Collins Injera is a student at the renowned Daystar University and is now undertaking his internship in one of the leading companies in Nairobi. He was faced with the dilemma of choosing to attend morning trainings with the national team or his compulsory class internship. This, according to reports might have been the reason why he failed to show up for the team trainings.
Mr. Philip Jalang’o believes that until the player apologised for missing eight training sessions, his contract will remain terminated. His teammates, however, are trying everything possible to get their team mate back.

We all want to be remembered for doing something unique. Guinness book of world records recognises people who do things which are above the ordinary. A man here in town has decided to make use of his lips and hopes to set a world record which is to kiss the most ladies in the world. Ladies be very aware of ‘the kissing bandit’. He might just strike when you least expect it. He approaches a lady and is courteous enough to let you in on his objective. The moment you give him the go ahead, the ‘bandit’ kisses you on the cheek or lip.
John Telewa, a Kenyan graphic designer and video editor aims to be the first man to have kissed a million girls in a span of three years. His page on facebook has received positive response from some of his fans who encourage him to go on. It currently has over three thousand likes. He always updates people through social media on how far he has gone with his kissing spree. Some of Telewa’s victims are renowned Kenyan celebrities and they include: Mimmoh, Avril, Wahu, Caroline Mutoko and Pierra Makena among others. He is not about to stop any time soon and has claimed to have kissed over one thousand six hundred women so far.
For all the sleeping beauties out there, the kissing bandit might come to the rescue.

Kenrazy's Letter To His Fans
TO ALL MY QRAZYFANZ!!!
ME!! RETIRE NOW!! HELL NO!! –wataSH2QAzaidi-
The reason for writing this letter is to clear off the circulating word that im retiring. I’ll take this chance to explain what exactly happened because it’s so sad that a boy in Nakuru almost killed himself by the thought that he will never hear anything else from me and it has demoralized many artists who were trying to come up.
For the 2weeks before the official release of my new Hit Song "SH2QA", I was on locked doors in studio constantly working on “THE BEST LYRICIST II” , my 3rdmixtape which is dropping 13th April 2013. At this time, the full concentration on this 21 track mixtape couldn’t allow for facebook nor twitter and I needed to let ya’ll know the count down to the new SH2QA before it drops.
So I requested my boy Peter [twitter handle @peterkanjz] whom I gave both my passwords to let you know that SH2QA was dropping 13th Jan 2013. His duty was to daily remind everyone about SH2QA for the 14 days that I was not in a position to access the internet due to the marathon recording sessions I had.
One of those days he updated that SH2QA was going to be my last track on both my social sites, him thinking it was just hype for the music something I could have known then I would have acted fast but amazingly the news spread beyond saving the situation .I came to know about it after 2days when my stablemate Caltoz Jinamizi called me to tell me that @ghaflakenya had written an article about me quiting music. On the same day www.djprincekenya.com also qouted the status Peter had put on my social sites introducing the song as my last song. Though my boy Peter appologised and I quote “manze mi nilikuwa nachocha tu hype” , to me it was a dangerous move and I tried to fix it by attending radio interviews just to clarify that im still here and to stay.
But still to my suprize it's still rapidly raising pressure among many of my fans that’s why I have decided to let everyone know what exactly happened.
I never imagined I could have such a great impact on people’s lives, because of this I vow to be a bit more carefull on who I let pass my message to y'all.
I can never retire any time soon 1st because I will for a long time work for you Qrazyfanz.
It is evident im the only one who gives you tracks to dance to as well as educative messages in them with as usual taight and Qrazy lyrics coz I’d never wana let you down.
Then 2ndly my associates Rapdamu, Sosuun , Caltoz Jinamizi , Timmy , Gyn Ideal , also my team still have a lot of stuff and suprises for you this 2013.
Finally thank ya’ll for the support , love and most of all your constant concern about me. It feels more than great to hear someone ask “Razy alienda?” ama “Razy ametoa ngoma gani sai” . Let me just say I have the best and Qraziest fanz in the world.
Watch out for SH2QA video and a suprize video dropping this February.
