Julius Owino aka Juliani continues to assert his lyrical dominance over the industry with the release of his latest video ’4 by 6′, a track off the artiste’s sophomore album ‘Pulpit Kwa Streets’.
Juliani released the video a few hours ago, asking fans on his Facebook page to interpret for themselves the true meaning of the heavy symbolism he’s utilized in the video.
‘Subscribe to my You tube channel and watch my latest video ’4 by 6′. I can’t wait 2 hear your interpretation!’ he said to ecstatic fans.
’4 by 6′ is basically the bed he regularly sleeps on, and Juliani raps about the sharp contrast of the constant size of his bed to the dynamic ‘extortion’ both he and those around him experience at the hands of a resource and money hungry governance.
The intense and heavy symbolism he uses, including being used like a marionette or a puppet by unknown manipulators who nevertheless control his life. But hey, that’s just our interpretation.
Juliani is one of few Kenyan artistes who experiment with a couple of totally different sounds and instrumentals, and this manages to keep his lyrical deliveries and compositions fresh. ’4 by 6′ is a Barbz production.
